PT. Berau Coal was established in 1983 and is a first generation Coal Contractor. It produces coal in Berau area of East Kalimantan within the concession awarded to the Company under the Coal Development Cooperation Contract system established by the Government of Indonesia. PT. Berau Coal is one of Indonesia’s large thermal coal producers located in the Berau District of East Kalimantan. We are currently seeking professional and qualified candidates for the following positions:
MINING SUPERINTENDENT (MSP-JN)
Responsible to coordinate mining section other department and also with mining contractor in order to establish planning, execution and evaluation on coal mining process, and ensure implementation of LK3 system and procedures.
Requirements:
Maximum 40 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering. Have qualifications in Mine Management, Mine Closure Planning and Mine Regulations. Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position from coal mining industries. Preferably hold POM Certification. Placement at Berau.
MINING ENGINEEER (MEG-JN)
Responsible to design short term mine plan and supervising mining production process by contractor.
Requirements:
Male, maximum 30 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience at similar position on coal mining industries. Preferably hold POP Certification. Placement at Berau.
GEOTECHNICAL & HYDROLOGY SUPERINTENDENT (GSP-JN)
Responsible to coordinate Geotechnical & Hydrology section in order to provide geotechnical & hydrological evaluation and recommendation for mine planning.
Requirements:
Maximum 40 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering. Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position. Preferably from coal mining industries and hold POM Certification. Placement at Berau.
GEOTECHNICAL & HYDROLOGY ENGINEER (GET-JN)
Responsible to supervise mining activities in-term of geotechnical & hydrological aspect and provide geotechnical & hydrological risk assessment.
Requirements:
Male, maximum 30 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience at similar position preferably from coal mining industries and hold POP certification. Placement at Berau.
MINE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (MDV-JN)
Responsible to develop long term mine plan, provide recommendation of mine development, making technical and economical mining evaluation and provide risk analysis for long term mine plan.
Requirements:
Male, maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) from Mining Engineering. Min 3 year experience in similar position, preferably from coal mining industries and hold POP certification. Proficient in mining software. Placement at Berau.
GENERAL AFFAIRS SUPERVISOR (GAS-JN)
Responsible to handle general services that include employee catering service, house keeping, company transportation, accommodation arrangement, and other company office services.
Requirements:
Maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1/ D4) in General Management or Hotel and Tourism. Minimum 3 years experience at similar position preferably from mining industries and possesses strong ability to manage site services. Placement at Berau.
SPEC. INVESTIGATION & LOSS CONTROL (ILC-JN)
Responsible to conduct incident investigation based on OHSAS 18001 standard, and ensure implementation of incident investigation output to prevent and control similar incident and loss in all PT Berau Coal work area.
Requirements:
Male, maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1/D4) in Mine Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or relevant. Minimum 2 years experience at similar position preferably on mining industries. Familiar in incident investigation method and preferably hold POP certification. Placement at Berau.
SAFETY & HEALTH SUPERVISOR (SHS-JN)
Responsible to supervise the Safety & Health (K3) regulation and procedure implementation on mining activities in PT Berau Coal working area including operational risk controlling, incident investigation and procedure implementation evaluation.
Requirements:
Male, Max 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1/D4) in Mine Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or relevant. Minimum 3 years experience at similar position from mining industries. Preferably hold POP certification. Placement at Berau
PRODUCT QUALITY & DELIVERY CONTROL OFFICER (PQDC-JN)
Responsible to ensure coal product quality, quantity and coal delivery as blending and shipment plan to meet customer requirement.
Requirements:
Male, maximum 35 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Geological Engineering or Chemistry. Minimum 2 years experience in coal quality, coal sampling and familiar with coal blending processes. Placement at Berau.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUPPORT SUPERVISOR (ESV-JN)
Responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting acid mine drainage, reclamation & re-vegetation project progress and maintain the legal compliance in environment (AMDAL).
Requirements:
Maximum 30 years old. Bachelor degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience as Environmental Engineering from mining industries. Placement at Berau.
